Happy Friday, everyone! In Austin we’ve been seeing an unexpected (but always welcome!) arrival of some major thunderstorms. You know, the kind that acts as the perfect excuse to not leave the house all afternoon, and more than anything, makes you crave a hearty bowl of soup. In the spirit of things, I’ve rounded up 10 of my favorite soup recipes — many of which I make time and time again, and a few that I’m dying to try out. Now, I realize that claiming “10 best soups” is a bold statement and there’s no doubt in my mind that I’m leaving out tons of delicious recipes, so please join the conversation by sharing your favorites as well. Fabulous! I’ve been craving soup lately, most especially pho. Also, I love love your new format on the site. so much.

That artichoke soup sounds terrific; I am going to have to try that one.
