If you’re like me, the thought that’s going through your head right now is “Those are the cutest invite’s I have ever seen!” This baby shower, invitations included, is the product of event planner Hattie Cummings‘ fantastic “Orange you glad” vision. Out of the 20 invitees, nine were pregnant! When faced with the task of throwing a gender-neutral shower for all these expectant mama’s, Hattie decided on this fabulously fun orange theme and color palette. I’d say she nailed it!
A beautiful old tree was adorned with ribbon made of orange satin and sheer fabric, and served as the backdrop for a festive photobooth. Guests were given jars filled with citrus sugar shower scrub to take home and enjoy. All these perfect orange elements added up to an unforgettable day; or in Hattie’s words, “a gorgeous afternoon full of laughter over swollen feet as well as sharing of baby wisdom and tips.”
Well, I appreciate when showers are not so obviously pink or blue, and I enjoy even more, when they are well thought out through, and through.
