Cristina, here! If you’ve been traveling, shopping, wrapping, baking, eating, and eating some more, (like me!) then you’re probably looking forward to a little rest and relaxation this week. When I’m feeling overwhelmed, I love pouring over Scandinavian design for clean lines and bright whites that are beautiful and cozy. After opening presents and eating an indulgent meal, I’d love nothing more than to curl up in that nook under the stairs! Don’t miss Camille’s snowy-white inspiration board from this morning, and follow the jump to see how to bring this look to your own home…***
Wish I had an under-the-stairs nook to transform into my own little Scandinavian corner, but since we all can’t be so lucky I pulled the ingredients for a winter white living room. The key to keeping an all-white look warm and inviting lies in using natural textures, like sheered wool and raw wood. The tree stumps are a look I’ve tried (by dragging logs home!) and absolutely love, and Martha Stewart has a fab diy for the enamel painted tops.
Metallic accessories look especially glamorous against a white backdrop, so I mixed in some mercury glass, sequins, and a little gold and silver. Light a few candles and snuggle up with a warm throw, and enjoy the rest of your holidays!

I love the elements you pulled together to get the look. Those tree stumps are so cool!
I love how the tops of the tree stump tables are painted white! Great selection!
