These past few weeks have flown by, and it’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is upon us. Since I spent the last few days packing a week’s worth of work into Mon – Wed, I’m setting aside all of today to do my Thanksgiving prep: grocery shopping, guest room readying and (my favorite part) setting the table. I had so many ideas for the direction I wanted to take my Thanksgiving decor this year, and I ultimately settled on a design that blends rustic elements (wood plank used as a “runner” in the middle of the table) with classic details (silver serving pieces, classic wood candlesticks.) Since I got to do a Thanksgiving “practice round” earlier in the season for our HGTV Thanksgiving video, I’m able to give y’all a sneak peek of my tabletop here. Keep reading for lots more images, and please share what palette you’re using for the Thanksgiving table this year!

Do you guys like brussels sprouts? I’ll be making Jess’s maple-roasted version.

Sprigs of wheat tucked into craft paper place cards bring an autumnal touch to each setting. My cousin Sarah did the pretty calligraphy on each card.

Ash from The Byrd Collective put together these stunning centerpieces featuring garden roses, hydrangeas, ranunculus and berries. I would never have thought of using that mix, but it came together so beautifully. We scattered gourds and pumpkins all around to bring an element of nature to the table, and Ash even nestled a couple of mini white pumpkins among the flowers.

And don’t miss the inspiration board I used as a starting point to pull the whole look together: I love the golden tones paired with natural wood and pops of deep teal!

Beautiful table. I think I will try the sprouts this year. Happy Thanksgiving!

Gorgeous, Camille! I adore the little place cards and the colors! I’ll be setting my first Thanksgiving table this year. The look is pretty simple with a slight vintage touch. I’m totally obsessed with mismatched vases right now so those will probably play a part too!
ummm WOW!! I love how you incorporated the blue!! This is truly beautiful. LOVE the china as well.
Beautiful Camille- stunning! Thank you for sharing your beautiful designs. You are really great.
I used your place card idea on my own table this year! Thank you so much for the inspiration! I posted my table today and gave you a little shout out for the idea. Wishing you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving! xo
it looks wonderful! we used wheat sprigs and kraft paper place cards too – perfect for the season
have a wonderful thanksgiving!
Awesome, I love that combo!! Happy Thanksgiving to you as well! xo
I love what you did with the napkins/placenames!
This is so elegant and pretty. I wish I was having Thanksgiving this year just to decorate, I always have Christmas though!
So pretty! I love the color palette and those floral arrangements are to die for. I also love seeing what comes about from an inspiration board! For my table I went with granny chic straight from the flea market
This is very pretty. Those center pieces are gorgeous and calming somehow. That pop of teal was an excellent color choice! I cant imagine any other color in its place.
I don’t know if this was purposeful, but I love the texture on the white candlesticks. Sort of looks like corn-on-the-cob, which is very fitting for the occasion!
They’re bee’s wax! They added such a nice textural element – but beware! They melt CRAZY fast!
Looks great! Happy Thanksgiving!
