Rustically Ever After

wedding organic rustic table setting flowers - rebecca fondren - camille styles events

Last week  we gave you a pretty peek at the rustic-meets-romance wedding we designed here in Austin, and today we’re thrilled to share all the gorgeous details and images! Miraculously, this wedding was conceived & executed in a whopping three weeks, but was an absolute pleasure every step of the way. The lovely couple envisioned a day that was fun and relaxed but stylish all the way, and the hill country setting at their good friend’s private home provided the most stunning views imaginable. For the design, we went with an organic, natural vibe full of glamorous touches and pops of french blue throughout. Follow the jump to see how it all came together to create the most perfect evening…

The ceremony was held in a grassy lawn below the terrace, where guests were seated on wooden benches and rustic lanterns clustered as aisle markers. Blue silk pashminas were rolled up and tied with burlap ribbon, with tags hanging that said, “warm & cozy,” and displayed in a wicker french market cart for the ladies to stay warm in the chilly weather. Lisa was walked down a rustic stone staircase and then the aisle by her 12 year-old daughter {a younger carbon copy of herself!}

Burlap hemstitch runners set across the table every two seats, creating a horizontal effect down the table that served as a modern take on linens. The multi-course meal prepared by the incredible team at Paggi House featured seasonal produce, seabass and tenderloin. Oh, and did I mention that the bride happens to own Delish, the best bakery in town? After dinner, Lisa delighted guests by passing out her famous cupcakes as an indulgent ending.

Flowers intermingled with flickering votives down the length of the table, and included small succulents, birch-wrapped clear glass cylinders, white tulips, hyacinth, white hydrangea, white roses, and lamb’s ear. A special element incorporated into the design was the golden monogram wooden placecards from Paloma’s Nest at the top of each setting, with each guest’s name beautifully hand-written in calligraphy. Congratulations Lisa & Stuart!
