Baggage Check :: Rio de Janiero

carnaval rio de janiero

rio de jeniero carnaval

Of all the destinations I (Kelly) have dreamed of visiting, Carnaval in Rio de Janiero is at the top of my list. With color, glamour and an unparalleled air of celebration, the lavish Brazilian festival is the definition of over-the-top. At the risk of stating the obvious, eccentric attire is always an important focal point of Carnaval (think ‘amped up Vegas showgirl’), so I can’t think of a more complementary collection than these Dolce and Gabbana one pieces. Short hems, radiant textiles and of course, perfect tailoring, these designs are just another element added to my Brazilian fantasy, and a perfect way to stand out in a twinkling sea of overstated costumes. Have any of you ever been to Rio or Carnaval? Do tell!

Hi Kelly ! First of all, I’m a huge fan of Camille Styles. Congrats for every post that it’s published here.

And as a fan, I must say your post made me very proud of my city. I was born and I live at Rio de Janeiro. I love carnaval and I think Rio’s Carnaval is one of the most incredible parties in the world. Please, make your dream come true. It’ll worth it.

Hope to see ya here soon. Many kisses, Renata

Hi Kelly and every at Camille Styles,

Thank you so much for this post and everything from the blog. I am new to following the blog and I love it!

This post today is fabulous. I have always wanted to attend Carnaval. I hear its absolutely an experience. I have attended Caribana the northern mini Caranval in Toronto, CA. Loads of color, costumes and calypso music.

Lets do a meet up in Rio, 2013.

    xoxoxo,
    Lotoya
