Sneak Peek :: Flower School

CamilleStylesFlowerSchool_0330

Last week, a few girl friends and I spent the day nibbling honeycomb with blue cheese, sipping rosé and practicing our flower arranging skills with buckets and buckets of gorgeous blooms. Not a bad way to spend the workday, eh? Can’t reveal too much from our “Flower School” shoot for HGTV yet, but I couldn’t resist sharing a few outtakes (captured by Paige Newton) from the day to whet your appetites. I’m not sure I’ve ever styled a shoot that was such an effusive display of beauty, but when you’re working with loads of flowers and colorful produce, it’s not really that hard… Stay tuned for the video on HGTV.com with Ash’s brilliant floral instruction, and keep reading for more eye candy!

    I love the idea of having girl friends over to actually create and learn something together. I have to ask where is your dress from? It would be a perfect bridal shower dress for my Spring shower!

    Gorgeous! I am really interested in the honeycomb photo – where did they find the honeycomb. Great idea for a cheese plate! Thanks.

    I am so ready to host something like this as soon as Spring decides to stick around more heavily here!! Beautiful, beautiful! And I think honey, cheese, and Rose are three most perfect things for a casual girlfriends gathering. I’m slightly envious I wasn’t at this party! :) And I spy an awesome Boos block! Love mine!

    Thank you for sharing such beautiful images!

    Those flower arrangements are beautiful — I particularly love the pop of the red anemones and the ruffles on those tulips. And the honeycomb shot is unexpected but so lush looking!

      At the time (before I was preggers) I wore a 0, and I think that dress might have been a 4! But it fit perfectly…
