Teacher's Aid Cocktail Recipe | Camille StylesCan you tell that we’re way in to the back-to-school theme around here? My styleboard from last week had us reminiscing in the office about the first day of classes and that oh-so-important first day outfit. And we’re decidedly jealous of the only adults we know whose lives get to continue on the rhythm of an academic calendar: teachers! Do we have any educators among our readers? If so, today we’re toasting you with this bookish beverage inspired by classroom staples:

Instructions:

To create our “Teacher’s Aid” cocktail mix 1/3 brut rose, 1/3 giner ale, and 1/3 cranapple juice in a champagne flute. Drop one sugar cube into the bottom of the glass and garnish with a slice of red apple. You can soak the apple slice in lemon or lime juice to keep it from browning. Bottoms up, Professors!

This will be my last year teaching. I plan to retire after 35 years. I think this would be a fitting beginning and ending drink for this year!
