In our hometown of Austin, Texas, things are about to get crazy…close to 60,000 hotel rooms have been booked and over 75,000 people are set to attend the SXSW Film Fest that kicks off on Friday and that’s only one portion of this ultimate ideas summit (full of parties at what seems like every hour of the day and night). The music festival starts March 12, and attendees will have the chance to take in thousands of musical acts with bands from across the world. All this SX hype got our team thinking not only about our city and how much we love it, but about all of our readers and their hometown pride and devotion. So, this month, we are celebrating our city (and some of yours)!

The Girls of SXSW | Office Style | Camille Styles

We couldn’t be more excited to share some new series with you — we reveal the first of these, Office Style, on Wednesday. Our first spotlight is on three of the uniquely fashionable ladies who work in the SXSW headquarters. They share how they landed their dream jobs and how to keep things fresh when it comes to dressing for work. Later this month, we will tour the ultra hip command post of the revered Stumptown Coffee Roasters in Portland and also have some surprises in store from LA, Nashville and NYC.

Morning Meals | Julia Gartland for Camille Styles

Our team is longtime fans of the beautiful photography and food styling of Brooklyn-based Julia Gartland of Sassy Kitchen so we are thrilled to unveil her new column, Morning Meals, which will be entirely devoted to our favorite meal of the day — breakfast.

Elizabeth Street Cafe in Austin | Camille Styles

Speaking of breakfast, if you are ever visiting Austin, you have to start your day off at Elizabeth Street Cafe with an Iced Vietnamese coffee and one of their delectable almond croissants. From the servers’ bold print and custom-made dresses to the punchy pink and turquoise decor, this is a must on our Austin to do list. Our always spot on columnist Cristina Cleveland found inspiration from this French Vietnamese fusion gem for this week’s Bring it Home column that goes live on Tuesday. There is nothing we love more than hearing feedback from you, our dear readers, so we look forward to hearing your thoughts!
