Thanksgiving is just over three weeks away, but here in LA things have been generally warm and sunny. I can’t complain, though, right? Generally warm and sunny weather is what you sign up for when you move here. Regardless, I have been trying to find ways to incorporate a little bit of fall into my wardrobe — even if it may not include cashmere and beanies just yet.
I have been prepping a lot of editorials and commercials in Beverly Hills lately and finally treated myself to Sprinkles Ice Cream for the first time last week. Oh. My. Gosh. It is so good! (I swear that’s not just the baby talking.)
It may be warm enough for dresses and ice cream, but I added this hat and these boots to the mix to make it feel more like autumn. This scarf may not be my favorite heavy knit, but it does the job and adds a pop of color.
Hanging out in a cooler climate these days? First of all, I’m a little envious. Secondly, though, just throw on a pair of tights, your favorite trench or winter coat, swap out the hat and scarf for something a bit warmer and your set!
Happy autumn! P.S. What are your thoughts about this new time change? I enjoyed the extra hour of sleep as much as anyone else, but I’m a little bummed about how early it’s been getting dark. Might be time to start waking up earlier!
