10 Best :: Christmas Trees

I should preface this post by saying that (if you didn’t already know): I’m Jewish. But even though I didn’t grow up with a Christmas tree beaming in my living room each holiday season, I’ve trimmed and decorated my fair share, and have been an admiring observer of firs for as long as I can remember. It’s fun for me to imagine what type of tree I would have in an alternate universe: real or fake, big or small, natural or blinged out, modern or heirloom? These are big decisions, people! And I admire you all for making them year after year. If you’ve already got a tree standing tall in your home (or standing short on a tabletop), I’d love to hear how you’ve decked it out… here are ten of my favorites from around the web!

    Haven’t put ours up yet but will next week. I love antique glass ornaments in all different colors.

    These trees are lovely. I find them a little funny though because my family always had the most eclectic tree in the world. We would buy and ornament (whatever we wanted) per year and then add it to the decoration. It’s very representative of where my family has been throughout the years, but it’s not nearly as put together as these.

      Love that! I was actually searching for a tree like the one you described to include in the slideshow, but surprisingly they’re not so well represented in the online world… Which is funny, because I imagine many people would relate to your family’s Christmas tree! :)

    Mine is decorated with family ornaments from both mine and my son’s childhood. This year as I decked the tree, I was thinking next year I would want a moredecorative tree befitting my empty nest and personal style. Happy to have the year to plan. Great examples and thanks. I bet you have a gorgeous menorah that you use each year for Hanukkah.

      Thanks for sharing, Stacy! And I have to admit, I don’t think I’ve found my ONE menorah that I’d use year after year. Still on the hunt!
