As much as I love holiday decor that’s sleek and sparkly…there’s just something about traditional shades of evergreen and cranberry in cozy textures that really makes me want to crank up the Christmas tunes. Tomorrow we’re kicking off the first in a series of holiday parties we designed with kate spade new york, and I couldn’t resist sharing a little sneak peek of the inspiration behind the shoot. Can’t give away too many details, but suffice it to say that there’ll be plenty of tartan plaid, toasty marshmallows, fireside board games and boozy eggnog involved. All the makings of a classic holiday gathering, catching up with family and friends over fireside chats and comfort food-fueled meals. I don’t know about you, but that’s what I’m really looking forward to about Christmas this year. Hope you’re all having a great start to this first week in December, and can’t wait to show you how the party came together in tomorrow’s post!
