Tartan Christmas Inspiration Board | Camille StylesMy douglas fir is now officially up (thanks to a very kind helper) and covered in my favorite trimmings: antique silver baby cups, berries, black velvet bows, and plenty of red tartan ribbon! I guess you could say I never got over plaid, Ralph Lauren, and the nineties in general, but it’s my absolute favorite look for the holidays. There’s just something so timeless about tartan — and the fun history behind this family symbol feels especially meaningful at Christmas. Do you have Scots in your family tree? If so, it’s fun to play around with the tartan finder on the House of Tartan website. In the meantime, I’ll be dreaming of a snowy family gathering in Scotland for Christmas. Wouldn’t that be dreamy? Glasgow, here we come…
