To my fellow gardeners out there: are your herbs growing like crazy?! I’ve always had potted plants, but this is the first summer that I’ve had the pleasure of tending to a raised bed, and it’s literally overflowing with aromatic herbs. Our basil is unstoppable, the rosemary is out-of-control and well, you’ve all already seen what lavender’s doing this time of year. I’ve been wracking my brain trying to think of what I can possibly do with all the amazing fresh herbs at hand (a girl can only consume so much pesto), and I think I’ll start enjoying them this weekend in the form of infused cocktails. What better way to soak up the last of summer than by mixing up a pitcher of seasonal freshness, and toasting the night away? I’ve been scouring the web all week long collecting the most mouth-watering recipes, and these 10 are at the top of my list. Click through, and be sure to let me know if I’m missing any must-try concoctions!

What I love about this list is all the concoctions are so refreshing. Basil and lemonade are also a great pairing (with or without vodka).
I LOVE summer drinks with herbs, and when I am looking for a new summer combo, I always pull out this list from Lottie + Doof. I guess they aren’t too new anymore since there are only 4 and I loved them all (one of which I shamelessly suggested) — but since they are firmly in the summer camp, they seem new whenever it rolls around again.

Thanks for the reminder for a few last weekends with delsiously summery drinks!
What fun! Yes, my herb beds are a riot — thanks for the great ideas for incorporating them into such refreshing cocktails!
beautiful and wonderful ingredients
lavender bee’s knees is awesome too. 600ml gin + 2 C hot water infused with lavender, then strained, then mixed with 1 C honey, + 1 cup fresh lemon juice.
