It’s the day after the first SXSW weekend, and I doubt I’m the only one who woke up craving eggs benedict followed by a long workout to sweat out all those margaritas. My panel on creating video for the web was yesterday morning – thanks so much to all of you who came out for it! I had a blast speaking with my co-panelists, and I followed it up with some party hopping downtown and then a super fun dinner with the kate spade new york gals. But I digress… it just so happens that we’ve had eggs on the brain around here, since Easter is a few weeks away and we’re working on some DIY’s that take egg dyeing to entirely new levels of coolness. I love the idea of trading in the pastel palette usually associated with Easter eggs in favor of a grass green and egg yolk yellow color scheme, perfect for a frittata and mimosa-fueled brunch menu. A casual collection of mismatched floral patterns and all that sunshine-y gold are making me crave spring’s arrival in full force…
