The only thing better for kicking off the week than a double latté? A major helping of seriously gorgeous eye candy, of course! Uma Sanghvi of Studio Uma shared the gorgeous results of an inspiration shoot that she created with the help of a few other talented folks, and as soon as we saw the prettiness, we knew we had to share. Modernists, feast your eyes! From Uma:

With the abundance of vintage and rustic inspiration around the blogosphere, I’ve been wanting to explore a completely different wedding theme. The modern and minimalist architecture of the Kimber Modern boutique hotel in downtown Austin was our inspiration for fashion, makeup, tablescape, florals, etc. — essentially, we were inspired by clean lines with a lot of white space, punctuated by small, bright pops of primary color. Wardrobe stylist Cristina Facundo created three stunning modern looks for our bride, and event designer Maureen Stevens and florist Carrie Beamer created a beautifully modern table and florals.

These gilded vases from Breed & Co were accented by ruffled fern, string of pearl succulent and white succulent accents. Florist Carrie Beamer chose to keep each set modern with fuss-free, simple florals.

Event designer Maureen Stevens created each place setting with placemats of different textures and minimalist tableware. The white plates are super simple, yet the irregular edges keep the design playful and interesting. Carrie painted succulent plants white to coordinate with the other crisp white details.

The menu cards were created by Méldeen, who made them extra special with a simple gold-dipped detail at the bottom. All that’s needed to recreate this look yourself is a gold-leafing pen and a ruler!

The team added interest to the silverware with a dip-dyed detail. With some painter’s tape and spray paint, Maureen created flatware that’s unique and unexpected.

Brass candlesticks in varying heights added a bit of romance to the modern theme.

On your wedding day, simple yet stunning accessories can make the most impact. Model Emma looked sleek with a vintage-inspired statement ring by Miriam Haskell, styled by Cristina Facundo.

Carrie paired a trio of small ceramic vases to showcase all the vibrant pops of natural color. A few of the floral selections included yellow acacia, yellow craspedia, yellow yarrow, painted lotus in white, string of pearls for a cascade and ruffled fern leaves.

A romantic quartz serving platter with gilded edges was the perfect backdrop for gorgeous oysters.

Hair stylist Laura Heyns and makeup artist Laura Martinez created this elegant and minimalist look for Emma. For a more playful look, a sleek bun was the perfect choice.

A play of textures and color: rough slate, smooth porcelain, and gilded details dress up a neutral-on-neutral color scheme.

This brass crocodile with a magnifying glass contained the piece de resistance — Caviar, berries of the sea.

A column dress is a gorgeous choice for the minimalist bride, and the award-winning Kimber Modern hotel was the perfect setting.
