Announcing My New Dream Gig with Target!

If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you may have noticed that I’ve been in LA working on a super secret project with Target (and bursting with excitement to spill the beans on what it’s all about.) Well my friends, today is the day: I’m so thrilled to announce that Target has asked me to come on board as their new official entertaining expert!

Like pretty much everyone else on the planet, I’ve been a major Target fan for as long as I can remember. It’s the first place I go when I’m stocking up for a party, or when I just need a little retail therapy in the form of a great scented candle or a new lipstick that won’t cost a fortune. So you can bet that joining the team as their newest home style spokesperson (alongside Emily Henderson who will continue crushing it in the home design category) is a pretty surreal moment for me and the team.

In the months to come, we’ll be creating fun videos, colorful photo shoots, and all kinds of other content centered on stylish, easy-breezy entertaining that you (yes YOU) can tackle using Target’s beautifully-designed products and my stress-free tips. It is going to be good you guys, and I’m already giddy with excitement over our initial projects together.

By the way, these drool-worthy photos are from this week’s spring brunch at LA’s Lombardi House, where we gave editors a peek at Target’s new global-inspired Threshold collection and shared the big news about our collaboration. It was a happy, sunshine-filled day surrounded by new friends, and I can’t wait to share more about the brunch — and tips for recreating the look at home — here on the blog next week.

In the meantime, I’d love to hear what entertaining topics you guys want to learn more about from the stories we create with Target. Tabletop tips? More DIY content? Menu planning and party timelines? Let me know in the comments here or on Instagram so we can give you more of what you love most!
