My New Year’s Eve outfits (along with my chosen method of ringing it in) have ranged from glitzy LBD’s to flannel pajamas, and since this year’s plans include a swanky dinner downtown followed by a champagne-popping party… well, my look will definitely include a little sparkle. I’m planning to accessorize with the new rock pendant necklace that my sister-in-law gave me for Christmas, and it got me thinking about what a perfect theme that would make for a rough-meets-luxe New Year’s Eve fête. Crystal-adorned place settings, agate coasters and rock candy to stir champagne… I’d say it’d make for a pretty rockin’ way to ring in 2014!
