As a pattern-loving child of the eighties and a Southern girl named after my great-grandmother, Rose, I think it’s safe to say that florals are in my DNA. I insisted on clinging to my Laura Ashley “Bramble” bedding all the way through college (and trust me when I say, that was not cool at the time.) So after a long pattern-phobic decade, I’m excited to see florals return this spring in the form of unexpected headpieces, decadent gowns and a few over-the-top photo backgrounds. I even tried to make one myself! My favorite applications of florals have always been bedsheets and romantic dresses, but this season I’m looking for new ways to incorporate it, too. Are y’all liking this trend? How do you incorporate florals into your wardrobe or home decor?
