Growing up, each summer I spent a month at sleep-away camp in Wimberley, Texas. Reuniting with my camp friends was the single thing I looked most forward to all throughout the school year, and I still cherish all the memories I made during those summers… one of my favorites being the overwhelmingly star-speckled night sky, and laying in the grass, taking it all in. Is there anything more peaceful? Looking back, I’m realizing that I haven’t spent nearly enough time away from the city and surrounded by nature this summer, but thankfully, it’s not too late. I’ve got serious plans to load the car up with blankets and sleeping bags before summer’s end, and drive until the city lights are but a mere memory. Here’s hoping you take time to do the same, and if so, be sure to download Star Walk — my friend Sam introduced me to the stargazing app, and it’s absolutely amazing!
