Last weekend Camille and I discovered the best lemonade we’d ever tasted: all natural, hand-crafted Lala’s Lemonade made right here in Austin! We sampled the lavender-infused variety, and I have to admit that ever since that first cold glass I’ve had citrus on the brain. Lemon, lime, orange, or grapefruit — a citrus palette always feels right for spring. These punchy colors look great poolside (or even on a row of bridesmaids!) This year I’m loving a warmer, more muted version of this palette as opposed to last year’s acidic neon. I could see myself forgoing a floral centerpiece for a simple bowl of lemons at my next soirée…  and I’ll be needing an excuse to try out this recipe! What do you guys think? Is a citrus palette as refreshing to you?
