Beauty in Bloom Garden Party

April 20th, 2015

Since the season of garden parties, pastel frocks and bunches of tulips is officially upon us, the team and I were excited to partner with Boots Beauty for a celebration of all things SPRING we hosted in my backyard last week. I’ve been especially into natural, plant-based skincare products during my pregnancy, so I was super curious to try the brand’s Botanics line, developed by Boots scientists and plant experts at the Royal Botanic Gardens. For this midday fête, we set the table with each guest’s personalized skincare “prescription” so they could take home a regimen for glowing skin all season long. Click through for the garden party menu, lots more about plant-based skincare, and of course, a major dose of rosé and pink peonies.

  1. This garden party is stunning! I love all of the beautiful flowers and those pretty dishes. What a great idea to gift every guest with their own skin care prescription. All of those products sound great and I particularly like that they are plant-based. Camille – love that dress on you!

In the June 2015 issue of Better Homes & Gardens, the tablecloth used is lovely. The “Resources” guide says it is from Wal-Mart, but when I go onto the Wal-Mart website and put the correct information in their search field, I get a similar tablecloth — but it’s almost a dark red and yellow ombre stripe. It’s NOT the one that you used in the article they did on your for the “Fancy Free” outdoor lunch page 24). Do you have any more information on where to get that tablecloth? It appears to be pink and white — large stripes.

    • Hi Sue! That exact tablecloth was from Anthropologie – a couple seasons ago. You might check to see if they currently carry something similar though. Best of luck!

Thanks, so much. Looks like the BH&G “Resources” page didn’t get it right!! I love Anthropologie; but likely they don’t have that one any more. Thanks for your reply. 🙂

Gorgeous set up!! Just wondering how you keep the flowers fresh without water?
Or is there water under the foliage?
    Thanks for tanks tips! 🙂
