Scenes from a Book Party + Brunch

November 18th, 2014

So far, this book tour has been a crazy-fun, once-in-a-lifetime experience… and getting to meet so many longtime readers face-to-face has definitely been the highlight. If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you’ve caught glimpses here and there of the festivities, but I wanted to pop in with a full post about our latest party in my hometown: a sunshine-y brunch on the lawn of Hotel Ella complete with rockabilly tunes, deviled eggs, and the best bloody mary’s around. Click through for the fun moments captured by Kate Stafford... and looking forward to celebrating with lots more of you on our upcoming tour stops this season!

i had such a great time at your book party, Camille! You and your book are certainly worthy of a celebration, and the beautiful sunny day in Austin seemed made to order for the festivities. Fell in love with Hotel Ella also and thought it was the perfect setting for the party.

  9. […] While these steps are recommended for the weekend before your event, the earlier the better! It’s never too soon to start planning, especially if you’re a person who enjoys reveling in crafting party concepts filled with fabulous design elements. At the same time, don’t be intimidated by the thought of throwing a last-minute event. It’s amazing what you can pull together with little notice. Go for it! [image above from A Beautiful Mess, image below from Camille Styles] […]
