- 2 oz. Vodka
- Ginger Beer (I like Goslings, Fentimans and Fever Tree best)
- Juice of 1/2 lime
- Basil Syrup
Instructions
- Make the basil simple syrup by simply boiling equal parts sugar and water in a pot, and add 3-4 chopped basil leaves.
- In a glass with ice, combine vodka, a splash of basil simple syrup and lime juice, and top it off with Ginger Beer.
- Garnish with a lime slice, fresh basil leaves and serve in a copper mug!
I love this idea. I use ginger beer in many cocktails I make. I usually just use Reeds because it’s the easiest to find.
