I (Cristina) am one of those people who love to move furniture (who’s with me?) I may move my bed to the opposite wall just to see how it feels, and then move it right back. Or re-style the bookshelves on a whim. The urge to reinvent my space is especially strong in the spring, and I’d hazard a guess that I’m not alone! My favorite way to freshen up a space also happens to be the most affordable – taking pieces from one room and giving them new life in a different area of my home. Keep reading to see how to bring this look home, and I’d love to know: how do you shake things up for Spring?
Seeing your well-loved pieces in a new setting may fill you with a new appreciation for them, so be adventurous when styling your space. If it doesn’t work, you can always move it back! Try moving a pair of lamps from a bedroom to bring symmetry to the living room, and you probably all have a vase or two that could be more impactful when grouped together (if not, these bright petite vases are only $16 each!). One new technique that I’m dying to try from the inspiration photo: layering one live plant in front of another for added depth and unexpected color.

I love it
We just rearranged the bedroom. Now it feel fresh and new
Happy Spring time!
I agree, the best and most satisfying way to go shopping is to shop from other rooms in your home….
I do the rearrangement mainly with wall decor. Once in a while I change the curtains and pillow cover. A small change in color can bring about a big change in the room.
