Scroll down to discover a few of Jenn Rose’s favorite things!

Chandeliers. I’ve always had a thing for them. They’re kind of like jewelry for a room. It’s not quite as grand as the one in this photo, but I recently installed this little guy from Pottery Barn in my entryway. Instant glam!

Smoking slippers. Even though I’m petite, I still like to wear flats. I love anything velvet, and a well-placed bow never hurts. I’m crushing hard on these audrina slippers from kate spade new york.

Going out for oysters. Of the Camille Styles team, I’m probably the least… shall we say skilled in the kitchen? On the other hand, my restaurant ordering skills are quite advanced. One of my very favorite things is going to Perla’s Seafood for oysters with friends — try the Raspberry Point, they’re the best.

Convertibles. For most of my life, I’ve driven some sort of open air vehicle. I’m currently shopping for my next car right now, and I’m not even looking at anything that doesn’t have a removable top. I say life’s too short (and the weather’s too good in Austin) to drive a boring car!

A camel coat. I have one very similar to this belted wrap coat from Trina Turk. I love the color and it looks especially great on blondes.

Clear bud vases. I like to keep smaller vases around the house — they look really modern and pretty when grouped together. They’re also a great way to salvage the last good blooms from a wilting arrangement. I’m hoping to add this larabee dot cylinder vase to my collection next!

Kate Spade Three Volume Book Set. I’ve had these slim volumes since 2004 and practically memorized them cover to cover. “Style”, “Manners” and “Occassions” address their title topics with wonderful illustrations by Virginia Johnson and a thoughtful voice. And so many delicious bits of pop culture to discover through these! Study up.

Costume jewelry. It’s fun! It’s affordable! And if you accidentally lose a piece, it’s not the end of the world. I’m fairly obsessed with the current collection of costume baubles from J. Crew. So many fun pieces.

Swiss dots tights. The perfect combitation of naughty and nice. I’m already on my second pair of these from Milly.

A great trip on the horizon. Working hard is easier when I’ve got something to look forward to on the calendar. Whether it’s a weekend jaunt to San Antonio or a big trip to Paris, I’m happiest when I balance work with exploring new places.

Something pretty to sleep in. I take “getting ready for bed” pretty seriously. It’s fun to wear something that makes you feel feminine and glamorous, even if you are just getting in bed alone to Netflix an episode of Gossip Girl. Not that I ever do that.

Anything and everything Kennedy. Okay, so I definitely file this one under “guilty pleasure”, but I like books and movies about Camelot. I’ve read some of the bios, but let’s get real: the photo books are even better! This one from Phaidon is one of my favorites.
