Bring it Home :: Curated Powder Room

Hi everyone! Cristina here, to talk about a part of the home that is easily overlooked in the decorating process: the bathroom. Since our daily beauty regime takes place here each morning and evening, it seems only fitting that it be just as pretty and inspiring as the rest of the home! Our inspiration photo reminds us that, just like other rooms, this space deserves art, color, lighting, and well-curated accessories. And be sure to pamper yourself with a few little indulges, like a scented candle (Camille’s pick!) or an embroidered hand towel. Keep reading to see how to bring this look home with framed botanical prints, a lovely vase, and an acrylic tray – my favorite way to display perfume bottles! And please let us know in the comments: How do you keep your powder room pretty?

I totally agree! I think that the bathroom should be just as lovely as the rest of the home. These ideas are all so perfect, I especially love the hanging light fixtures! My favorite ways to make a bathroom pretty, are to organize your things using vintage dishes and trays. Also, flowers and a big mirror!

PIECE OF CAKE. PEACE OF MIND.

I like to keep my bathroom pretty with scented candles, pretty perfume bottles, a sheepskin rug, flowers and birds wall art and some soft, squishy towels. Those pendant lights are lovely but I wonder how practical they are ?

These are pretty examples of lovely bathrooms. I agree that the bathroom should be given the love and attention that the rest of the house gets.

since my hall bath is the one that guests use, i keep it pretty with a decorative shower curtain and accessorized with candle holders, hardware, and bold art and carpeting that complement the black/white decor. i also added some fun lampshades over the swagged light fixture and spray-painted the mirror to tie into the black and white theme. you can see a picture of the hall bath in my house tour here: http://623designs.tumblr.com/housetour
