Did it take you a long time to put the whole look together and finally feel “done”? and do you have any tips on how to get to that final finished place.
My fiancee and I just purchased our first home and I’m slowly realizing how many items we need to purchase (after living off mismatched ikea furniture for so long!). It is starting to feel a bit overwhelming.
I have a million and one images that I love but now need to somehow get them into the house.
Thanks Joanna! It actually did take quite a while (probably a year?) for the house to feel “finished,” and trust me – there are STILL areas of the house that need more attention. Definitely pull as much inspiration as you can – Pinterest, shelter mags, etc. – to help you think outside the box and come up with creative solutions that you can apply to your space. And as hard as it is, try not to second guess yourself too much! It’s decorating, not rocket science, so have fun with it and go with the pieces that you feel yourself fall in LOVE with!
What are of Austin are you in?! This is amazing and nothing like any of the homes we have been looking at in Austin. I also, can’t wait to see your nursery. You have amazing style!
You have a beautiful, beautiful home and I am hugely envious! Our next plan is to build our own house and yours is definitely on my inspiration board!

I’m a big fan of Ryan Street’s designs. He’s my favorite architect in Austin. I love clean lines and details that pop. Understated elegance! Your home is simply beautiful. We are in the final stages of our home (thankfully because I’m so ready to be settled) and I look forward to trying to style my home as lovely as you have yours. We seem to have very similar tastes. Im not sure if you have plaster walls but it appears that way and Im hoping to find someone who does great work with smooth diamond plaster. It would be lovely to meet you sometime to share home decorating ideas, baby fun, and running a business while trying to balance it all. My husband and I are both self-employed as well and Austin seems to be a great fit for entrepreneurs!
Wow, talk about a dream home! Your kitchen is perfect with lots of space and those steel doors are so cool and unique. I love it all but am still dying for a peek at your entire view!
I love everything here. What a gorgeous home! The iron / window doors and floating shelves are favorites! I love that it looks beautiful without looking overdone. It’s definitely a space I could relax in! Thanks for sharing!
What a great round-up of a gorgeous home! So lovely.
I never get tired of looking at your home. I can’t wait to see how the nursery looks

Beautiful home Camille. I miss those two people you have framed on photo 16.
Lovely.
I love Neil’s painting in what looks like the bedroom. Does he have a website to purchase paintings from?

Do mind me asking what color paint your trim is? Is it the same as the walls?
Yep, we matched our trim to our paint throughout.
Your house is stunning!!!!! May I ask what your fireplace mantel is?
Just found your beautiful home. Would love to know where your ottoman is from in your living room and fabric of your couch. Thanks!
