Next up: the light fixture. I knew I wanted something eye-catching hanging above the baby’s crib, but a traditional chandelier seemed way too formal for this space. It was love at first sight when I spotted the beachy, glamorous Malibu Chandelier from Serena & Lily. I love the bone colored beads and earthy frayed tassel contrasted against the refined wallpaper.

It’s coming together so beautifully! I LOVE Serena & Lily–you can’t go wrong! I liked getting closet dividers by months to organize clothing that you can find on Etsy. And I was surprised how long my daughter fit in to newborn clothes given that she was born 8 lbs and grew so quickly…she was in the 90th percentile of weight and height since her 1 month visit and has been since and was in newborn clothes for a month-thought she would be out of them in a week!
That’s so good to hear about the newborn sizing… and love the closet divider idea. I bet that keeps things SO organized!
It’s looking fab! I love that rug and the cute little tiger print is adorable
Happy days!
Oh goodness, so cute!!!! i love it all
I love your selections, Camille! And you rock that baby bump so so well
. This nursery makes me want to go on a serious shopping spree over on Serena & Lilly.
so so cute! I love the quiet and serene environment you’re creating! It will be such a special place to enjoy all of the beautiful moments with your little one!

I love your nursery so far Camille! The rug, ottoman and light fixture are my favourites, great choices. You must be so excited waiting for your little bundle to arrive
It looks amazing Camille! I love the colors and it will transition nicely in the future to a big girl room. Just lovely!
That’s what I’m hoping! Trying to not go TOO babyish so it’ll easily transition to when she’s older… hopefully she won’t end up begging me to plaster it with Hannah Montana posters or anything like that.
Wow, Camille! You and baby will no doubt enjoy relaxing in such a beautiful space! Can’t wait to see the final photos!
It is coming along gorgeously! I am so excited to see the finish!
I, too, found my daughter fit in newborn sizes for way longer than I expected. She was just under 7 lbs when born, and remained relatively small for and long for her percentile, so we wore out those cozy newborn footies and onesies like nobody’s business! I recommend having plenty of just your basic, soft newborn outfits and not stress about anything too frilly or cute for the first few months. So much more comfy for those long newborn nap days.
We arranged our closet by size, it was so easy to find her fit. Now that she is two and in toddler clothes, I arrange by type because she really is only growing UP and we replace accordingly as each season changes.
Enjoy your last few months nesting!
Such a fun time.
Kirbi
Thanks for the great advice, Kirbi. I definitely feel like I need to stock up on simple, soft outfits that are easy to slip on and off for those early days… that are all about comfort! That organization plan sounds just right, too!
It looks like it is going to be gorgeous!
Lovely! Do you have a link to the print that on the bottom left in photo 14? I have looked at minted but haven’t found it. Thanks!
Yes! It’s the Paris Map Illustration from Famille Summerbelle.

It’s going to be the perfect, calming nursery! Love everything you selected!
LOVE the nursery!! And love Serena & Lily…half of our nursery is from there and I just love their goods. Their crib sheets at the best and oh so soft. AND girl….you look amazing!
Thanks lady – and I’m SO glad to hear that the crib sheets are so soft and have worked well for you!! Thank you!
Oops, meant “are” not “at”!
Absolutely love the nursery! It is so serene and sweet. She will be one happy little lady! We have twins – boy/girl who are two now. Keeping the closet organized will make things so much easier (and prettier!). The idea about the closet dividers is great. I always had about a three to six month range of sizes in the closet at a time – ex. Newbornn to 3-6 months. Once they outgrew something it was washed, folded and but in a storage bin. That way you aren’t keeping things she doesn’t fit into in the closet taking up precious closet space. I also have always had a basket on the top shelf of the closet for each child where I put outfits that are way too big. You will receive gifts in sizes for way in the future and it is easier to keep those items out of the closet until they fit and they aren’t cluttering your space. Good luck!
the nursery is beautiful! My daughter slept in a moses basket her first few months and I have good memories of her sleeping in it.
It’s so beautiful Camille! Love the neutral palatte mixed with the pop of colors in the art prints! What a calm and soothing space for your precious little one
So lovely!
Her room is going to be gorgeous! I love everything that you picked out to make it special! Congrats!
So pretty and serene! Would love it if you could share the name of the paint color.
Of course! It’s Restoration Hardware, “Seafoam.”
