Can y’all believe June is essentially over? If the calendar isn’t enough of an indication of summer’s arrival, the thermostat certainly is. And as usual, I (Claire) am falling into a shopping frenzy and tapping into the season’s best trends (I’m currently loving pattern play). My recent wardrobe additions have resulted in the need for some serious reorganization in my space-challenged abode. With closet space scarce, thought I’d use my next DIY to tackle storing my clothes in a way that makes them part of the decor. I’ve been fascinated with the look of garment racks for a while now, and after searching for inspiration, I’ve become even more excited to create my own. But first I’d love to hear from all of you: Which of these 4 racks would you like to see re-interpreted and recreated? Leave a comment with your thoughts and ideas, and stay tuned for the reveal in two weeks!

IDK. First and last seem the easiest. I vote on the last one. Simple but has the space for shoes! This is perfect because just moved to NYC and I was going to buy one, but now I’ll wait for the DIY! Very excited to see it and try it myself!
I vote numbers 1 or 2!
Came across your blog this week and I loveee it ! I vote 2 or 3!
I vote on #2! I love the look of the pipes.
Oh! Oh! I would love to see a combo of the first and second rack. Maybe the second one painted white??
I loooove #1. So simple, and so chic.
Big fan of the first one, love the simplicity and the colors, the third seems like it would be great in a laundry room. Excited about this DIY!
my preference is #1 or #2..great idea, we need one of these!
I like the first one!!! P.S. I just love the idea of garment racks in a house … feels like shopping everyday!
Call me a rebel, but I like the #4! With #1 in a close second place.
Can’t wait to see the final product Claire!
Thanks everyone for your enthusiastic responses! I love all the opinions so far and am so excited to start this project!
I vote for #1!
I like the first one best!
Oh gosh, I LOVE #2. I also appreciate #3. Hmm…if I HAVE to choose. …#2.
#2 would be awesome!!!
I like # 4. If you do # 1 it seems like you need a stop on each end or your clothes will slide right off.
Number 2!!!! And maybe number 3
Definitely image #1 — love the simplicity and can imagine it working well with lots of different design styles.
I’d love to see the first one transformed because that is currently what my poor guests have to use to store their clothes when they stay, so any ideas to make it prettier would be much appreciated!

Number 2 please!
as a child of the 60s i must go with #4….it evokes an early Austin bohemian vibe that rocks!
I vote for one and three
I’m a fan of #1 because it’s so simple and basically disappears against the wall.
Maybe color dip the bottom 1/3rd in a bright color that complements a lot of the clothes you plan to hang on. I think a Tiff blue or Mint would look perfect.
Love #1!
I loooove the second! Can’t wait for this tutorial – my closet is exploding!
Love #1!
Love these Claire. Favorites are 2 & 3.
#1 or #2
I prefer the 1st and last due to the simplicity of it as well as building it!
I absolutely love the wood & pipe clothes rack! I’ve seen similar things in a couple stores (namely Urban) and have always been intrigued!
Definitely number 2! I love how weird and interesting the shape is.
#3 please!
