Weekend Notes

Happy weekend lovelies! This week has been fun…crazy…exciting…stressful…and really, super busy. We styled not one but four photo shoots for De Beers and DIY Network (more to come on both next week!), put together some fun DIY’s, oh and then on Friday the site was down almost all day and for a couple of scary hours I thought I’d lost months and months worth of content. Thankfully it was recovered, and by evening the site was back up, and Adam and I enjoyed the first really summery night out on the terrace eating niçoise salads and talking about the events of the day. The weekend should be much more low-key, with nothing much on the agenda besides trying out a new bakery, going for a long hike and planting basil and mint in the garden. What are all of you up to? Hope your Saturday is lots of fun, and enjoy my favorite links from the week!

How gorgeous are these rosewater & rhubarb macaroons from the new Sweet Paul?

Love the bite-sized treats at this super-chic birthday party.

I could display these neon dip-dyed eggs all year around.

This little piggy…is one of my fave place card ideas of all time.

Intense chocolate & espresso make for one perfect cupcake.

My obsession with flower crowns continues at this wedding…

Loved reading the homage to The Ritz in this month’s Vogue…and the accompanying photos are to-die-for.

And a few things you may have missed:

Claire’s genius lounge-y table DIY for our Moroccan shoot.

A very french little baby shower.

Some of the best tacos ever.

What a beautiful image! I’m sorry to hear about the site issues Friday and so glad you were able to recover quickly. I’ve been through that too many times and I certainly understand how scary that is. The weather has been amazing so I hope you got a chance to take a breather and enjoy it after a busy week. :)

Thanks so much Amanda! Appreciate the support – it was totally scary. A very not-fun reminder of the importance of backing up frequently!
