Weekend Notes

cherry-tartlets

Ahh, another weekend already…though it kind of feels like we had one on Wednesday, this Saturday still comes as a much-needed break from the busyness. Since there’s not too much on my agenda today, I’ve decided to fill it will all my favorite things: a trip to the farmer’s market for heirloom tomatoes, peach-bourbon jam and freshly baked raisin walnut bread; then croissants and coffee at Elizabeth Street Café, followed by an afternoon of swimming and finishing this book on my iPad. Heaven! Tonight a few of our friends are hosting a “couple’s shower” for us, and I’m excited for Adam to get to celebrate in some of the baby festivities. What are all of you up to this weekend? Hope it’s full of summer fun, and enjoy my favorite links from the week!

A celebration of stone fruit (dying to make this dessert.)

We’re all busy. And we don’t need to talk about it all the time.

And I love the whimsical touches in this Sonoma wedding.

I think baby girl is gonna need this. And this.

The perfect mantra for the weekend.

I’m a bit of a wrapping paper fanatic, and I’m dying to get my hands on these pretties.

*And a few fun things you may have missed!

I so look forward to this post every week. You post the best links! That NY Times article was right on time for me. Have a great weekend and have a croissant for me!

Thanks Tiffany, glad you enjoyed… I found SO much truth in that article too, and it will make me think twice before ever saying “I’ve been SO busy!” again! ;)

I LOVE their croissants, but haven’t tried that bread! I’ve been hooked on Texas French Bread’s… but will definitely give ET’s a try! Thanks Emily – xo
