Weekend Notes

Gelato Wedding Cake | Camille Styles

Yes, that is a wedding cake made out of gelato cones… and no I don’t know how one could pull that off without it becoming a melty disaster. All I know is that I’m obsessed with it and want to eat the entire thing. On that note, happy weekend! What are all of you up to? I’ve been looking forward to this day for the past month: a group of my best friends in the world are coming in town for one last all-girls hurrah before the baby arrives. We’re barbecuing, (they’ll be) drinking frozen margaritas, and lounging by the pool with stacks of new mags. Not that we’ll read any of them since we’ll be way too busy talking and catching up on each others’ lives. Adam’s planning to busy himself with a guys’ version of “nesting,” by completely organizing the garage from top-to-bottom with built-in shelves and cabinets. Looks like I’m the clear winner in this weekend’s activities, huh? Hope you all have a lovely day, and enjoy my favorite links from the week!
