Weekend Notes

apple picking party

It is a gorgeous fall weekend here in Austin – sunny skies with just enough chill in the air to pull on a sweater over my shorts and head to the farmer’s market to stock up on ingredients for this salad. I love these rare weekends with no commitments on the agenda, when we can savor these sweet moments with our baby girl who’s getting bigger by the day. She’s just started smiling really big, and it’s made her little face even more irresistible (if that’s even possible.) What are all of you up to this weekend? Hope it’s full of fun and laughter, and enjoy the (many!) links that inspired me this week!

Every autumn cliché imaginable…this made me laugh so hard.

Wouldn’t mind having a pumpkin spice donut with my coffee this morning.

Obsessed with the floral “chandelier” at this wedding by the river.

Could it be? The perfect recipe for brussels sprouts I’ve been searching for?

Anyone else’s orchids always die? Hoping this might help…

This might be my favorite Halloween tablescape to date.

Have a great weekend! I really miss my boys as babies! It’s amazing how much love we have for our babies! and it’s just as awesome as they grow! My oldest is going to college next year!

This weekend was a pretty packed weekend for me! I worked two weddings, but a sweater and shorts visit to the farmers market sounds divine right now! I think I can sneak a moment or two away to enjoy it.
