Weekend Notes

flowers & michelle armas painting, via once wed | camille styles

Happy Saturday, friends! We’re headed to the farmers’ market this morning to stock up on lots of fresh produce, raisin-walnut bread and my favorite grapefruit & vanilla bean jam. It’s been awhile, and now that spring is (sort of) in the air, I’m ready to make our market jaunts a weekly occurrence again. Only lovely things on the agenda this weekend: brunch with friends, a little date night with A, book club with some of my fave gals, and hopefully a trip to the plant nursery to pickup a couple new fiddle leaf fig trees for the house… ours are, sadly, not looking so hot. Btw, how gorgeous is that painting in the image above? I stumbled across it this week and totally fell down the rabbit hole of gazing at every single one of Michelle Armas’ beautiful works. So lovely. Hope you all have an equally beautiful weekend, and enjoy my favorite links from the week! xx

Grapefruit, tequila & pomegranate seeds? Jen’s cocktail hour is calling my name.

Loved having my ideal V-day date featured alongside these other creatives on Design*Sponge.

Starting to introduce Phoebe to new flavors, and this guide gave me all kinds of inspiration.

Love these girls, and really love their pretty lipstick shades.

Dreaming of a Grecian getaway, thanks to this unbelievable abode.

A springtime wedding dripping in femininity (especially love the stationery.)

Ordered two pairs of these jeans, and hoping they come in the mail today. My faves.

*and a few fun things you may have missed!

I finally shared the beauty products I can’t live without.

Kids. They always tell it like it is.

These would make a pretty gift any time of year.

I am jealous. I so wish I was headed to the Farmers Market today. Sadly, Missouri is freezing cold today. Hope you enjoy!

The fact that the farmers market is still open where you live makes me wonder why I put myself through winter each year — not worth it! Have fun! xo

Absolutely love that guide to introducing new flavors! After reading French Kids Eat Everything I am determined to turn my kids into joyful little foodies and this is a great place to start (albeit a little late for my almost two year old!). Thanks for the tip!
