Happy long weekend, friends! Thank goodness for the Fourth being on a Thursday this year — you’ve gotta love having 3 days to recover before diving headfirst back into another busy week! We had a fun holiday full of swimming, grilling, root beer floats and watching the fireworks, and this weekend’s plans hold nothing more demanding than a trip to farmers market and breakfast with my book club. Oh, and tonight I’m headed to dinner with the girls at Eden East, a new locavore restaurant that brings new meaning to “farm-to-table,” since it’s literally popped up inside Springdale Farm in east Austin. How are all of you spending the long weekend? Be sure to check out this month’s edition of On My Nightstand for some great weekend reading recommendations, and don’t miss these fab links from the past week!

How can I get an invite to Jack Johnson’s dinner parties?
