Weekend Notes

Boden Must Have Tunic | Camille Styles

Happy weekend! Hope that all of yours have been full of fun so far. After a whirlwind couple of weeks where it seems like every moment has been scheduled (birthday parties! photo shoots! weddings! travel!) I’ve been determined to slow down and take some time to do nothing this weekend. Today has been all about laying by the pool, reading the new September issue of Vogue and trying out a new pasta & heirloom tomato dish for dinner. Phoebe and I did stop by her friend Ellie’s princess-themed birthday party, and it was soooo worth it just to see the look on her face when Cinderella made a surprise appearance. Now I’m off to settle in with a movie and a bowl of Haagen-Dasz. Enjoy my favorite links from the week and see you back here on Monday! xo

Henry + Marie’s Bastille Day birthday

Love the look of this simple Moroccan dinner.

The fall fashion bug has bit…& I’ve been pinning lots of little pretties that I want this year.

An heirloom tomato & avocado salad that combines all my favorite ingredients of summer.

If you, too, find Marissa Mayer fascinating… this abbreviated biography is a good read.

Peter Rabbit-inspired birthday party (& don’t miss that incredible tree… what a setting!)

*and a few fun things you may have missed!

I’ve been eying that tunic for a few weeks. I’m always looking for casual (mom) clothes that still has some style. Hope your weekend is as relaxing as you hoped it to be!

Ooooh The September Issue… sounds divine. I actually had this giant beauty in my hand at the airport in NYC last week, but couldn’t bring it back to Australia as I was already over the weight limit! Hope you enjoyed it :):)

    Bless you!
