Wishing that Haven’s Kitchen would transport itself to Austin so I could shop, take classes and eat there all the time. Housed within an incredibly cool carriage house near Manhattan’s Union Square, this gourmet shop and cooking school is all about delicious, seasonal and sustainable food and has developed a loyal following among foodies who love to learn all about it. Have any of you NYC’ers been? I’d love to hear what you thought. And for those of us who can only live vicariously, they have a perfectly curated assortment of culinary products available online, brimming with some of my favorite things like Bellocq Tea, Mast Brothers Chocolate and Bonnie’s Jams.
