Our New Studio :: Shopping for Rugs

February 5th, 2014

Moving day has finally arrived for our team! We’ll be busy unpacking and settling into our new studio space, and one of the things I’m most excited about is unrolling the rugs that we ordered from Lulu & Georgia. Since the space has clean white walls and classic wood floors, I knew that the floor coverings would be our chance to make it really unforgettable. I started the process by identifying the three areas of the studio that would need rugs and the look I envisioned for each: the front porch (timeless & durable), the open workspace (bohemian-chic) and my office (one word: cowhide.) It was tough to narrow them down from Lulu and Georgia’s vast and jaw-droppingly beautiful collection, but here’s what I finally settled on: Lulu & Georgia | Camille Styles

I simply adore the pally cowhide rug — it should be an amazing touch of texture for my trademark neutral palette! And I’d love to accessorize my all-white office with chic black and gold touches for a sophisticated look: 1. pally cowhide rug, 2.gabrielle side table, 3. wishful thinking wall hook, 4. cannon lamp, 5. c’est la vie print, chloe: attitudes coffee table book, 7. charlie bottle lamp, 8. pearl love seat

Lulu & Georgia | Camille Styles We want the team work room to be a fun space that fosters collaboration and creativity, and the bright satya rug provides just the right amount of unexpected color. We’d love to accessorize this space with vintage items and a bold statement light fixture:   1. satya rug, 2. gemini vase, 3. lunara lamp, 4. i feel you canvas art piece by birdaria, 5. agate table decor, 6. ruby chair in ebony, 7. svende table in walnut, 8. retro camera decorative piece, 9. kenza moroccan pouf in dark tan

Lulu & Georgia | Camille Styles We want the front porch to make a classic and inviting first impression. We chose the eskimo rug in charcoal for it’s bold geometric pattern — wouldn’t it look great paired with neutral wood tones and a pair of bright red vintage chairs? 1. eskimo indoor/outdoor rug in dark charcoal, 2. ellie pillow, 3. raine lamp, 4. bryce dining table, 5. lina chair in candy red, 6. taye trays, 7. xavier vase

and, as a special surprise gift Lulu & Georgia have offered our readers a 20% off coupon! Use the code CAMILLESTYLES20 to enjoy the discount on their website now through Sunday. Happy shopping!
