Weekend Notes

mother's day brunch

Saturday, already?! Can’t believe another weeks has come and gone… it was completely action-packed as I worked on photo shoots for my book, submitted a bunch of styling projects we’ve been working on and put the finishing touches on plans for the party I threw with Mark & Graham at my house last night! One of my besties Erin flew in to co-host the event with me, and it was so fun catching up with my favorite Texas bloggers and creative girls who stopped by for French-inspired nibbles and champagne cocktails. We’ll post pics next week, but for now, I’m off to show Erin around the city (her first trip to Austin!) and prep for the Mother’s Day brunch I’m hosting for our families tomorrow. And you can bet that I’ll take a little time to kick back with a mimosa, and reflect on this amazing first year of being a mom, myself! As always, here are my fave links from the past week:

TORTUS Ceramics sent me their new video this week… totally jaw-dropping.

Love this preppy pineapple inspiration.

Spicy + tangy. (yum!)

Dreaming of the English countryside, thanks to this stunner.

Mamas & babies… totally melt my heart.

This pink walled garden is kind of amazing.

Can’t stop thinking about this chair.

*and a few fun things you may have missed!

We stepped inside the Folk Fibers’ studio to see how Maura gets inspired to make such beautiful quilts.

Martha Lynn demonstrated how to get the perfect brows.

Scratch Baking Co. is officially on my must-visit list.
