It’s the first weekend of fall! Since tomorrow marks the autumn equinox, I’ve been thinking about what really gets me in a fall state of mind. The crunch of a sweet-tart apple, pulling on my wellies for the first time, burning my cider candle in the office, the scent of cinnamon wafting from the kitchen… Then while I was driving yesterday afternoon, a Keane song came on the radio, and suddenly I remembered that every single song from that band reminds me of back-to-school and changing leaves. (Blame it on a certain sophomore year crush who played it them his car around-the-clock… but I digress.) Anyway, am I crazy, or does anyone else have a song or band that’s their soundtrack to ringing in a new season?
