Monochromatic Monday :: Apple Orchard

Apple Orchard Fall Inspiration | Camille Styles

Happy {October} Monday! Today marks the official end of my maternity leave, and I’m feeling so refreshed, inspired and excited to throw myself into preparations for all the holiday shoots we have planned over the coming weeks. (Though I have to admit, being away from Phoebe for a few hours for a photo shoot on Friday was harder than I thought it’d be… when I picked her up from her grandmother’s in the afternoon, I just wanted to shower her with hugs and kisses for the rest of the day!) Anyway… I just loved this article in the latest MS Living, about a pomologist (yep, the official name) who grows hundreds of heirloom varieties of apples at his incredible farm in Maine. It’s the perfect read to get you in an autumn frame of mind, and it left me dying to bake with apples all week long… These apple brownies are at the very top of my list. What kinds of fall flavors are all of you cooking up these days? Let us know in the comments below, and hope that you all have a wonderful start to the week!

    I shared a similar inspiration on my blog this morning as well! I baked up some apple crisp this weekend – really puts me in the fall spirit.

    Happy Monday!

    Welcome back! The scent of apples (coupled with cinnamon!) definitely remind me of fall and apple picking when I was young. I absolutely want to try that drink!
