As a gal who really loves love, it doesn’t take a whole lot of convincing for me to fully embrace the Valentine’s spirit when February rolls around…but any lingering doubts were erased when Chanel sent me the link to this Disney short film last night. It doesn’t take a hopeless romantic to start dreaming of love notes & butterflies-in-the-stomach after that, no? This might be the only time of year I can get away with throwing a fête in shades of peaches, cream and pink blush adorned with scalloped edges, ruffled edges and yes – even a bow or two. Do you guys like this look – or do you lean towards a bolder palette of fuchsia and scarlet when Valentine’s rolls around?
Hope you all had a great weekend! Mine consisted of birthday brunches, breakfast dates, working out in the yard, lots of playtime with Phoebe and pretending to watch the Super Bowl while I ate chili dogs and pie. Not much relaxing, but it was fun, nonetheless. Happy Monday!

Camille, this is lovely and so very romantic …… my favorite colors all year long!
That cake is adorable, cute yet minimal. Love it!
Looking for ballet slippers like that! Any recommendations?
I MUCH prefer the pale pinks and off whites and blush color to bright reds, etc. It’s much more romantic and girly
Can you imagine that dear Mr. Darcy just turned 200! I was reflecting on those same words last week, when I heard that it was the 200 year anniversary of Pride and Prejudice. He’ll always be right! (I’ve been coveting Signe’s cakes, too!) Beautiful, as always
This is a darling inspiration board. Love the cake & bouquets.
We are on the same page today! Love blush pink! I featured a Vintage Blush Pink + Gold Tabletop on the blog today. Planning to embrace all the feminine details of Valentine’s Day too!

So lovely! I’m helping plan one of my good friend’s wedding and she’s all about tans + pale pinks so I’ll have to share. Thanks for the inspiration! xo
