I like the quietness of January —  it’s the month where many of us actually find the relaxing moments we had hoped for during the holidays. For me, nothing’s better than reading part of a good story each night before bed. If you grew up on C.S. Lewis like I did, then one glance at this board should reveal its inspiration. As a child, I could be found many cold nights armed with a flashlight and paperback, curled in a window seat. The Chronicles of Narnia were a favorite and the image of that quiet, snowy forest has never left my mind. Currently I’m enjoying another fantasy classic, The Once and Future King by T. H. White. Whether it’s reading a good book, cleaning out your closets or making it back to yoga class, we hope that you’re enjoying some quality “you” time this January.
