10 Best :: Summer DIYs

Have you all been making the most of your summers? Once August 1st rolled around I fell into a minor panic that I hadn’t made the most of the season — I realized that I’ve only been out on the lake once, haven’t had a single snow cone and have not consumed nearly enough barbecue. So, it’s crunch time. I’ve created a going list of all the things I’d like to enjoy before the end of the month, and at the very top of it are some DIY projects that I’ve spotted around the web and bookmarked, but have yet to actually recreate. There have been so many brilliant ideas out there this year, but we’ve collected 10 of our favorites for this week’s roundup. Click through, and be sure to let us know how you’ll be celebrating the last few weeks of summer!

    succulent party is the Best idea….but I am looking for cans have the design direct on it and not paper stuff which will soon disappear when you keep the cans outside. I started with Irish Steel Oats can and will continue the ‘breakfast’ route for the outside cafe table.

    We are planning on hanging a hammock in the garden, after seeing them in the gardens at the Postcard Inn in Florida. Lazy afternoons reading books and listening to summer sounds await. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
