Today’s rather bittersweet: after a non-stop week of shoots, we’re pretty pleased that it’s finally Friday. But on the flip side, today marks the end of Picnic Week 2012 (insert sad face). We’re going out with a bang with one final picnic-inspired post from Ana later today, but this morning we thought we’d take a moment to highlight some of our favorite al fresco parties from around the web. From Italy to New York City, weddings to spur-of-the-moment lunches, it seems there’s no wrong way to picnic. Click through for a glimpse at the ones that caught our eye, and if you’ve hosted a picnic you’re proud of, don’t hesitate to share links in the comments section!

These are so beautiful! On my bucket list for St. Andrews [grad school] is to have a picnic on the beach over there. I will most definitely keep this post in mind because I really would like to style it and share it with my readers!
Oh that would be AMAZING…what a dreamy place for a picnic!
I adore the summer picnics! I can mix two of my favourite things: food and nature, and of course, my family!
kisses from Barcelona!
I love the picnic wedding. Wish I were still planning weddings so I could use that idea. I’ll have to pocket it away for my OWN future wedding.
I also love picnics and as a mother of three children I always try to find a spot where they can fully enjoy their favorite activities. That’s why Toronto’s High Park is the most popular place in our family when it comes to picnicking.
We always have a lot of fun and the best thing is that my kids spend their free time actively.
