Fave Outtakes :: A Southern Wedding

Call me old-fashioned, but every once in a while it feels so refreshing to style a table without a hint of modernity, that’s classic in every way. And living in the South, I love channeling some of the historic tradition that’s always distinguished Southern entertaining. When DIY Network recently asked us to concept a summertime wedding table, we chose to pay homage to family tradition by putting together a look that Southern belles from past generations would surely approve of. With heirloom china from Newlywish and beautiful antique furniture from Loot Vintage, we set a navy and white palette with touches of green and gold details. Silver flatware and gorgeous arrangements by The Byrd Collective topped everything off, while silhouette art (which we’ll show you how to make tomorrow) made the perfect place cards. Follow the jump for more of the photos that She-n-He took that day, and be sure to visit DIY Network for all the details.
