DIY :: Floral Pin Card Holders

We thought we’d kick off the weekend with a project that is so simple, I can’t believe we hadn’t thought of it before. See that fabulous gold menu card holder on our all-white  buffet? If you hadn’t already guessed it, it’s actually made of a dolled up florist’s pin frog! Usually used to keep flowers perked upright in a vase, we realized that with a few minor tweaks, these spiky disks would make the perfect place card or menu card holders. Keep reading for the instructions, because this is one DIY you can’t afford not to do!

In the off chance that you somehow missed the memo, Rue Magazine dropped their 5th issue this week… and it is somethin’ spectacular. The sight of this Summer Garden Party styled shoot was, without question, one of the most fabulous parties I’ve seen this season… but then again, would you expect any less from the power-couple that is the Rue Team and Mindy Weiss? The details were designed to a t, from the floral centerpieces & place settings to the bright & punchy stationery.
