Baggage Check :: Alcazar of Seville

Ever since seeing off one of my dear friends to her six-month stay in Seville, I (Kelly) have been infatuated with the stunning city. With flowering orange trees and pristine gardens at every turn, I’m yearning to see the beauty of Seville first-hand… specifically, the Alcazar Royal Palace. Disregarding the that fact that it would be next to impossible to land on the guest list of a palace event, I would kill to slip on one of Bill Blass’ spring numbers for a royal fête at Alcazar (just wait till you see the back of this goldenrod dress). Right on trend with the styles I’m loving most this season, Blass’ Spring collection combines heavy, embellished fabrics with sheer material to create a look that is at once regal, yet soft. That said, I’d love to know what trends you’re all most excited to experiment with this season!

Kelly, the palace will definitely welcome you in that goldenrod dress, as will I! Love the post, good choice!

Wow I love that dress, what a great find kelly! The strong yellow color reminds me of the yellow Ralph Lauren dress that Blake Lively wore on the season 2 finally of Gossip Girl. There is something so bold about the color that makes it unforgettable, just like the sights of Seville.

Seville is just divine! Went there a couple of years ago and fell in love with the city, especially with the Alcazar, is incredible!
