We all have that area in the house that’s lacking in decor… it might be an entryway, a nook or an entire wall that fails to inspire. So if you’re like me (Cristina), and have resolved to finally tackle the project, I thought we could start the week with a little inspiration to give us a jump start!
Bright white with pops of color gets me every time, so I was immediately drawn to the white floors, doors, and ceilings of this room. Though the thought of maintaining these spotless floors is a tad bit daunting, I think this set up works perfectly for an entryway as the weathered furniture and tribal rug make a bright a welcoming statement. Plus, how perfect would it be to have seating by the front door for pulling up your boots, and a mirror for a last-minute hair and makeup check? The daybed has an antique feel that looks best when paired with modern pieces, like the silver drum side table and white floors. It’s perfect for an entryway, because although it’s gorgeous, you wouldn’t exactly want to curl up on it with a bowl of popcorn for movie night, right? If you don’t have a spacious foyer for such a large piece, a similarly styled console would work just as well. A tribal runner and intricate mirror finish off the space with a look that’s eye-catching, but not overdone. I’m a total believer in the importance of receiving guests into a welcoming space… how do you keep your entryway styled and exciting?
